12-Step Christ-Centered Recovery

What is Re:generation Recovery?

Re:generation is 12-step discipleship through recovery. By working through these biblical steps within an authentic community, people have grown to follow Christ and have found freedom from all types of brokenness.

Anxiety/depression. Pornography. Fear. Control. Substance abuse. Codependency. Sexual abuse. Same-sex attraction. Eating disorders. Anger. What struggle has you stuck?
We know that not everyone who comes to Re:generation will enter understanding the Bible or believing in the God of the Bible. Re:generation is a safe place for anyone to honestly process questions and doubts. Our prayer is that you will find the same peace that we have found.

God loves you. He wants to heal you. He has a plan for you. All are welcome.
Our next available group will open for registration in July

Ministry FAQ's

How does it work?

Re:generation is a 12-step program that is structured within the context of small groups and outlines the biblical transformation process for all. Participants will spend the first couple of months in either a newcomer’s group or a groundwork group. Once they have completed the groundwork curriculum, showed a willingness to take part and decided that they want to move forward, they will be placed into a step group to go through the 12 steps. Step groups have a set number of participants and leaders. Once a step group has started, no new members will be added. For the next 8 to 10 months, they will progress through the steps using daily curriculum.

How long does Re:generation take?

The entire Re:generation process takes about a year. Groundwork groups take about 2 months; step groups take 8 to 10 months. The Groundwork curriculum lessons take participants 15 minutes per day, and step group curriculum takes about 30 minutes per day. Spending 30 minutes a day with God for one year while working on your recovery can change your life.

How are groups structured?

All small groups are divided by gender, but not by presenting struggle. Groups with mixed struggles help participants to focus more on the spiritual brokenness behind their struggles (heart transformation). Mixed-struggle groups also help equip leaders to provide biblical counsel across multiple struggles, making them more effective ministers of the gospel in all spheres of influence.

Groundwork groups (first 7+ weeks of recovery) are always open to new participants. Participants can come as frequently as they wish. To advance to a step group, participants must show consistency in attendance and complete Groundwork curriculum.

Step groups often have an 8:1 participant to leader ratio. Step groups close once launched. Participants have small group leader support, accountability with other group participants, and a mentor outside of the group. A step group typically takes about 9 months to complete the 12-step curriculum.
